Q. When have you felt the most lost or conflicted in your life?
“When I first came to Japan, I spent each year asking myself, ‘Should I stay here, or should I go back?’ as I searched for my direction.”
Q. When you feel lost, where do you go? And if you don’t go anywhere, how do you spend your time?
“When my mind feels tangled, I return to familiar scenery and redraw it—using illustration to calm myself.”
Q. What does the RAWROW product you’re using mean to you right now?
“It’s my personal work trunk one that lets me sketch anywhere, not only while traveling, but in everyday life as well.”

“At the threshold of my thirties, as I recalibrate my life’s compass, I find myself slowly looking inward.”

“I head into nature with the intention of doing nothing, and that’s where I find true rest.”

“When I stay true to the classic New York style pizza, there are moments when the thought crosses my mind: ‘Is it really okay to keep walking this path without chasing trends?’”

“I return to New York—the place I once admired—feel it with my whole body, and go back to who I was in those pure early days.”
